Based on an FOI and court costs observed in 2018 – these costs were worked out on the rates given below:
4 day FtP hearing Lay and panel member fees £2,480
Panel chair fee £1,360
Legal assessor hearing fee £2,000
Legal assessor reading fee £100
Other expenses including travel and accommodation for all £1802
Total £7742
It was interesting that this registrant did her own FOI to determine the costs associated with her case as this enabled us to learn about the associated fees that come with cases, such as expenses and reading fees.
